Introduction

ORITE has two ground-penetrating radar systems used for field research: a 100 MHz and a 2.5 GHz antenna.

The 100 MHz system is used in conjunction with the Cone Penetrometer Truck for cross-hole tomographic studies. The 2.5 GHz antenna enables imaging of pavements up to 24 inches deep.

Both radar systems are vital tools in ORITE's subsurface exploration and research activities.
