Fluids Lab

Stocker 200

Used by both Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering students, the fluids lab enables students to learn calibration principles, make fluid and flow measurements, and collect, analyze, interpret, and comunicate clearly the data and results of a fluid-mechanics experiment.

Featured investigations include:

  • Bernoulli Theorem
  • Channel Flow Measurment
  • Continuity Theorem
  • Drag Force
  • Friction Loss of Pipe Flow
  • Fluid Properties
  • Fluid Statics
  • Hydraulic Channel
  • Momentum Theorem
  • Velocity Measurement by Pitot Tube
