Michael joined the Ohio University staff in 1997 after 21 years of service in the highway construction industry. As operations manager of the Accelerated Pavement Load Facility , he is responsible for daily operations of the machine and monitoring of pavement test sections. His many years of experience in highway construction has proved invaluable to ORITE. He is also involved in various field research projects. And when needed operates the departments 25 ton cone penetrometer vehicle.
